I crafted this unique set of two cups from dark stoneware clay on the potter's wheel. Both cups feature beveled edges, making them stand out. I employed the hakeme technique for the first cup to achieve a textured surface and finished it with a dark olive-green glaze. The second cup's exterior is carved and coated with a sophisticated white matte glaze. Combining these techniques results in a captivating and versatile cup set for your enjoyment.

Please note that each piece is handmade, so slight variations in coloration and size may occur. In addition, it’s a unique product made from raw clay, which means it’s imperfect in its beauty. Finally, each piece of my ceramic work is carefully created one by one in stoneware clay, so no two pieces are identical.

Care

I craft all my work from high-quality stoneware clay and food-safe glazes without lead. All of my work is dishwasher safe, though I recommend hand washing. You can also put it in the oven or microwave, but as with all handmade pieces, the better you care for them, the longer they stay with you.
