This plate is made of dark stoneware clay on the potter's wheel. When I designed this plate, I envisioned it with clean, straight edges that would give it a modern and sleek appearance. I crafted a slightly raised and flat base to enhance its functionality, providing extra stability and an intriguing visual element. I glazed the inside of the plate with an attractive white matte glaze. I left the exterior unglazed to emphasize the natural beauty of dark stoneware clay.

Please note that each piece is handmade, so slight variations in coloration and size may occur. In addition, it’s a unique product made from raw clay, which means it’s imperfect in its beauty. Finally, each piece of my ceramic work is carefully created one by one in stoneware clay, so no two pieces are identical.

Care

I craft all my work from high-quality stoneware clay and food-safe glazes without lead. All of my work is dishwasher safe, though I recommend hand washing. You can also put it in the oven or microwave, but as with all handmade pieces, the better you care for them, the longer they stay with you.
