Inspired by the sea, I handcrafted this dinner plate series using dark stoneware clay. The turquoise blue color on the surface and the irregular, white-edged borders irresistibly mimic ocean waves. Each plate features raised, straight beveled edges that lead to a flat bottom. The interior is glazed with a matte turquoise finish, while the exterior remains unglazed to highlight the natural beauty of the dark clay. Care

I craft all my work from high-quality stoneware clay and food-safe glazes without lead. All of my work is dishwasher safe, though I recommend hand washing. You can also put it in the oven or microwave, but as with all handmade pieces, the better you care for them, the longer they stay with you.
