I crafted this unique plate using dark stoneware clay, shaping it on a potter's wheel to create straight edges. I carefully carved the base with a simple hand tool to add an extra touch. For a pop of color, I applied a beautiful matte turquoise glaze to the inside of the plate. I chose to leave the exterior unglazed, allowing the natural charm of the clay to shine through and providing a lovely contrast in texture and appearance.

Note

Please note that each piece is handmade, so slight variations in coloration and size may occur. In addition, it’s a unique product made from raw clay, which means it’s imperfect in its beauty. Finally, each piece of my ceramic work is carefully created one by one in stoneware clay, so no two pieces are identical.

Care

I craft all my work from high-quality stoneware clay and food-safe glazes without lead. All of my work is dishwasher safe, though I recommend hand washing. You can also put it in the oven or microwave, but as with all handmade pieces, the better you care for them, the longer they stay with you.
