I carefully worked on this simple yet elegant plate using dark stoneware clay on the potter's wheel. The straight edges of the plate give it a refined look, while I carefully carved the base using a hand tool for added detail. Next, I applied a combination of glazes to make the inside stand out, achieving a fascinating effect. In contrast, I chose to leave the exterior unglazed, allowing the natural allure of the clay to shine through.

Care

I craft all my work from high-quality stoneware clay and food-safe glazes without lead. All of my work is dishwasher safe, though I recommend hand washing. You can also put it in the oven or microwave, but as with all handmade pieces, the better you care for them, the longer they stay with you.
