I shaped this flat plate from dark stoneware clay on the potter's wheel. The plate has a smooth, flat surface with slightly raised edges, which I formed using a simple hand tool for added appeal. A matte blue glaze covers the top of the plate, while the bottom is left unglazed. The combination of practicality and artistic touch makes this plate a charming addition to any table setting.

Care

I craft all my work from high-quality stoneware clay and food-safe glazes without lead. All of my work is dishwasher safe, though I recommend hand washing. You can also put it in the oven or microwave, but as with all handmade pieces, the better you care for them, the longer they stay with you.
