I crafted these two large, straight-sided plate set using white stoneware clay on a potter's wheel. Each plate features low, gently curved edges and a unique spiral pattern created by gently pressing my finger onto the inside surface. I applied a matte olive green glaze to the plates' surface for a durable and resistant finish. The unglazed underside showcases a double foot, adding a distinctive touch to the design.

Please note that each piece is handmade, so slight variations in coloration and size may occur. In addition, it’s a unique product made from raw clay, which means it’s imperfect in its beauty. Finally, each piece of my ceramic work is carefully created one by one in stoneware clay, so no two pieces are identical.

Care

I craft all my work from high-quality stoneware clay and food-safe glazes without lead. All of my work is dishwasher safe, though I recommend hand washing. You can also put it in the oven or microwave, but as with all handmade pieces, the better you care for them, the longer they stay with you.
